Petersburg University, I am majoring in the English language and literature and I also listen to lectures on history, philosophy, linguistics, etc. In some ways September would suit me best, as I have to be away most of the month and would like to have a "watchdog" in the house. After my lectures I like to play volleyball and tennis, lama member of our University volleyball team, in the evenings I read books or go out fore walk, or go to a movie for relaxation. We want you to understand that we will see to all your needs while you are with us and to any expenses that may arise. Needless to say, we are looking forward very much to seeing you in January. Brown has informed me of your intention to come to our city in the summer, and this is indeed good news to me. Please let me know on what plane you will arrive and when I may expect you. If I may come on those terms, I shall consider it an honor and pleasure.

This would be practice for us, and if I make any mistakes, I hope you will correct them for me. You will be pleased to hear that in your letter you did not make any mistakes at all. There are many trees, lawns and gardens around our house. I spent the first two weeks at home at my native place. We should be happy to have you with us for the weekend following the Seminar. We are looking forward to seeing you and do hope that you can come. My husband wishes me to give you his regards and to thank you for extending your invitation to him as well.
